Our Story

At EcoMarlee, we believe that every small action contributes to a greener, cleaner, and healthier planet. Our journey began with a simple idea: education and awareness can ignite immediate positive changes. As environmental enthusiasts, we envisioned a platform that not only educates but also empowers individuals to take meaningful steps towards spreading the message about the dangers we currently face, such as toxic chemicals leaching into the environment and our food supply.

The Print-on-demand (PoD) model have several eco-friendly aspects that contribute to a more sustainable approach compared to traditional mass production. Resulting in reduced waste and more efficient distribution.

We’re not just a website; we’re a community. Our reporting feature allows you to share local environmental concerns. Whether it’s a littered park, a polluted stream, or a threatened wildlife habitat, your voice matters. Together, we can bring it to the attention of local government authorities who can consider the matter and help find a solution to the pollution.

Meet the Founder (Fritz Gewerth)

These days Fritz in his late fifties, can be spotted at his local country supermarket, in the Southwest of Western Australia scrutinizing food labels to avoid additives, preservatives and other nasties. His like-minded wife, Donna, still jokes around with him calling him the professor, (aka Professor Fritz) especially when he gets a bit carried away with his meticulous nature.

Fritz’s younger years were filled with adventures all across Australia, from hiking rugged terrains to hang gliding the lush rainforest's of Northern Queensland and kitesurfing the beautiful pristine Western Australia beaches. His love for nature hasn’t waned with time; it fuels his mission to foster a cleaner, healthier environment.

Nowadays, Fritz’s outdoor pursuits are accompanied by Marlee, the EcoMarlee brand mascot, an Australian Kelpie/New Zealand Huntaway farm K9, who eagerly prompts him for their daily exercise.
