As I was driving through the small country town of Nannup the other day (July 2017) and enjoying the fresh air and surrounding areas of forest and thinking how special the south west region is because of its trees when compared to the rest of WA, then to read a few signs along the highway saying "Save Barrabup" I had to find out more about this issue and find out what was going on. I found a news article on the logging concerns of the Nannup towns people and you can read about it on the following link and also make comments below. http://www.perthnow.com.au/news/western-australia/department-of-biodiversity-conservation-and-attractions-investigating-nannup-forest-while-logging-put-on-hold/news-story/fefe2c96661a92ff6b7c2e70edc97bf6
For more information the article shows Jess Beckerling to be the head person to talk to about saving the forest as she is the WA Forest Alliance convenor.
